Prior Environmental Clearance is mandatory to obtain either from the MoEF&CC/ SEIAA/ DEIAA as per the provisions of EIA notification dated 14th September, 2006 (as amended thereof) for the various types of Industrial, Mining & other Infrastructures projects listed in the EIA Notification.
Prior to establishment & commencement of any industry, project or activity, the project proponent (applicant) requires Consent to Establish (CTE), Operate (CTO) & Authorization under the provisions of the Water (P&CP) Act, 1974; Air (P&CP) Act, 1981 and Hazardous & Other Waste (M&TM), Rules, 2016.
Prior permission/ approval / No Objection Certificates (NOC) is mandatory for abstraction/withdrawal of ground water by an Industries, Infrastructure, Mining projects either existing, new or are under expansion is essential required from Central Ground Water Authority/Board (CGWA/CGWB).
An approved Mining Plan, Mining Scheme is require as per the provisions of the Section 5(2) (b) of the Mines & Minerals (Regulation & Development) Act, 1957 and as per Rule 11(1) of Mineral Conservation & Development Rules, 2017.
As per Clause No.10 of EIA Notification 14.09.2006 Post Environmental Clearance Monitoring and half-yearly compliance reports are mandatory in respect of the terms & conditions stipulated in Environmental Clearance. Compliance reports are required to submit to the concerned regulatory authority on or before 1st June and 1st December of each calendar year.
Forest Clearances (FC): Forest Clearance is mandatory to be obtain under Section 2 of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 for Forest land in which project is proposed. Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) Clearance: Prior CRZ Clearance are mandatory for the area falls in CRZ, as per provisions of S.O.19(E) Coastal Regulation Zone Notification (CRZ) dated 06.01.2011 and G.S.R. 37(E) dated 18.01.2019.
